who can submit?
Anyone can.
how can i submit?
Submssions are only accepted through OBO's FilmFreeway page.
can i submit if im a student?
Yes, OBO accepts students films.
are english subtitles requred?
If your film’s language is not English, then it must have English subtitles embedded.
which countries aren't eligible for submission?
None. OBO accept's projects from any country in the world.
ARE PRIOR SCREENINGS/ SELECTIONS ACCEPTABLE?
Yes, you can submit to OBO even if you have previously been screened or selected at other festivals. If you’ve been awarded to OBO already, you are not eligible to re-submit.
will i automatically get selected?
No, your submission’s completion doesn’t guarantee your selection. There’s a whole process of voting all the projects we receive and deciding which of them get selected and which don’t.
will my film be screened?
No, since we are an online film festival, your film will not be screened at a live venue.
WILL I RECIEVE FEEDBACK ON MY SUBMISSION?
Unfortunately, we do not provide any feedback on whether your project has been selected or not.
ARE ENTRY FEES REFUNDABLE?
No, entry fees as well as services fees are non refundable.

The Online Box Office Film Festival is a 501(c)(3) arts non-profit organization, that is dedicated to spearheading creative and cultural exploration through the medium of film, both within our local community and on a global scale. In addition to our ongoing endeavors, the Online Box Office Film Festival proudly hosts its own online film festival each quarter catered to showcasing rising and solidified film talent from all over the world.
